Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, and Zac Efron are at it again, pitting neighbour against neighbour for our entertainment.
For Teddy Sanders (Efron) the glory days of college are over and it’s time to grow up. Meanwhile, Mac (Rogen) and Kelly (Byrne) are expecting their second child and have decided it’s time to sell up and move to a bigger house.Of course, it wouldn’t be a comedy if things all went to plan. Enter Shelby. Chloe Grace Mortez plays this excited, young college student who moves in next door to Mac and Kelly to start her own sorority. And things go downhill from there.
With Seth Rogen, you can assume it’s going to be a funny movie. But when all’s said and done, it seems like there was more effort put into the jokes, one liners, and physical comedy than anything else, with the story line being thrown in to tie them all together. But that’s not necessarily a terrible thing.
It does its best to pull together a sappy, happy ending to finish it on a good note. So if you’re in for a giggle, check it out.
