Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows

Our favourite heroes in a half shell are back! Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo have been living in the shadows, until the Shredder decides to make his comeback. Add some new foes to the mix and it’s time to step up their game if they want to save New York City.

Voice actors Pete Ploszek (Leo), Alan Ritchson (Raph), Jeremy Howard (Donnie), and Noel Fisher (Mickey) bring their talents back for this second installment. Megan Fox and Will Arnett as April O’Neil and Vernon Fenwick round out this group of unlikely heroes as they prepare to go toe-to-toe with the Shredder and his Foot Clan again.

New guy on the team is none other than Casey Jones. Stephen Amell (CWs Arrow) plays the head strong, idealistic, police officer who is just as determined as the turtles when it comes to taking down the Shredder. He puts up a good fight, armed with his signature hockey mask and stick.

The effects used to create the turtles are truly amazing. The range of emotions they show on their animated faces definitely help the over all feelings of joy, excitement, sadness, and hilarity that make up this film.

If you’re a fan of the late 80s television series, you’ll be familiar with a couple of the new characters. And even if you’re not, this action packed flick is still one to check out.

I loved the animated series but I really didn’t like the first movie. I think I’ll keep this one for a rainy day, but I’ll probably watch it at some point because…well, Stephen Amell haha. Great review. Have you ever thought about sharing your writing on any other movie/tv platforms?

Hey! Glad you liked the review. And that’s fair enough. I know a few people who weren’t overly keen on the first flick. But yes, Stephen Amell… Don’t need to say much more haha.

Do you mean like reviewing movies that aren’t new release or tv series? Because I’ve started work on a My Top 10 Zombie Movies article (I’m having fun tracking down movies I haven’t seen, but I think this one will take a while to write). I’m also thinking of starting a segment for TV where I can write my thoughts and theories.

Did you have anything in particular you wanted me to check out? I’m always open to suggestions!

Hey! Haha glad to meet another Stephen Amell fan. You’re right, enough said haha.

I was more referring to whether or not you were sharing your articles on other platforms. I’d love to introduce you to Moviepilot/Creators, I think it’d be a great fit for you. Let me know if you’d like to know more about the platform, I’d love to help you get your writing seen. You can find my contact details on my blog.
